How do the watch and phone communicate?
WatchShot runs a ZeppOS app on the watch and a lightweight background server on your Android phone. Commands are sent via Bluetooth without delays.
Which camera apps does WatchShot support?
WatchShot supports virtually all cameras: stock phone camera, GCam (Google Camera), Open Camera, ProShot, and more. You can configure cameras in the server settings. The app can also work with multiple cameras: it detects which camera app is open and automatically maps touch zones for that camera.
